King Charles III and Queen Camilla have departed Buckingham Palace in a horse-drawn carriage to travel to Westminster ahead of the King's Speech.
The King will deliver a speech, written by the government, which outlines its plans and is expected to announce around 35 draft laws.
King Charles was seen saluting as the royal couple began their journey in the ornate carriage.
