Shopping centre evacuated due to fire
Fire crews have tackled an electrical blaze which broke out at Leeds' Trinity shopping centre on Wednesday afternoon.
West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) said it was called to reports of a fire at a store within the centre at 16:51 BST.
Five crews attended - one from Leeds and two from Hunslet, plus crews from Killingbeck and Mirfield. An aerial ladder from Bradford was also at the scene.
WYFRS confirmed the fire had been extinguished by 17:35 BST with no reports of injuries.
A centre spokesperson said: "Trinity Leeds is now reopening after a small electrical fire in one of our units resulted in a precautionary evacuation.
"We apologise for any inconvenience or concern caused - the safety of guests is always our priority. We鈥檙e grateful to the fire service for their swift response.鈥
