Man charged after high street stabbing

A man has been charged after another man was left seriously injured following a stabbing on a busy high street.
Police were called to the High Street in Shanklin, on the Isle of Wight, at about 18:20 BST on Friday.
A 50-year-old man suffered a puncture wound to his back and a cut to his arm.
Aaron David Caley, 36, from Ryde, has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife in a public place.
He is due to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court on Monday.
