Two men have been arrested after a vulnerable man's house was used to run a drugs line from.

Officers discovered the exploitation of the man - known as 'cuckooing' - after a "lengthy investigation" into drug dealing in Gloucester, Gloucestershire Police said.

Warrants were executed on Wednesday at a number of linked addresses which aimed to safeguard the victim and gather evidence.

A 31-year-old man, from Gloucester, was arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs and modern day slavery offences, while a 36-year-old man, also from Gloucester, was arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs.

Officers found several quantities of drugs at the man's property, suggesting that dealing was taking place from the victim's address.

Both men remain in police custody while enquiries continue. The vulnerable man is now being safeguarded, the force said.
