Peterhead 拢20m museum and library plans unveiled
Initial designs have been released for a new Aberdeenshire regional museum, which forms part of the Peterhead Cultural Project.
A library is also included as part of the proposed development, which will see Arbuthnot House in the town restored and extended.
The 拢20m project is being supported by the UK government鈥檚 Levelling Up Fund.
The project team said it would showcase Aberdeenshire鈥檚 extensive heritage collections and artwork.

Views have been sought on how communities could make use of a new outdoor space, and also what objects could be displayed in the museum.
Aberdeenshire Council will also be hosting a public engagement session at Peterhead Library on Monday 5 February.
Council leader Gillian Owen said the museum would showcase "inspiring people and amazing artefacts" from across the region.
