Cow shooting on farm prompts police investigation
Police said the shooting took place at the farm on Brecks Lane on the outskirts of Rotherham

A cow has been shot dead at a farm in South Yorkshire, police have said.
The animal is believed to have been killed at the farm on Brecks Lane, Rotherham, some time between 22:30 BST on Monday and 06:00 BST on Tuesday.
South Yorkshire Police said officers had been following several lines of inquiry and were now appealing for information.
Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or who may have footage of the Brecks Lane area, is being asked to contact them.
