Six members of a county lines drug gang who ferried Class A drugs from Leeds to Scarborough have been jailed.

The group, headed by Cameron Lyn, 33, and Benjamin Conway, 32, was involved in transporting heroin and crack cocaine to the North Yorkshire coastal town between September and December 2019.

The illegal drugs were obtained from Leeds-based Damon Tremble, 47, and later sold on the streets of Scarborough by others, West Yorkshire Police said.

Lyn, Conway and Tremble were jailed alongside Kyah Dalby, 28, Roy Fogarty, 33 and Ethan McCorrie, 27, at Leeds Crown Court on 5 November.

All six admitted conspiracy to supply Class A drugs at an earlier hearing.

Lyn, of Easterly Road, Gipton, was sentenced to 11 years and eight months in jail, while Tremble, of Blenheim View, Leeds, was sentenced to seven years.

Conway, of Clyde Chase, Leeds, was handed a six-year sentence in addition to a seven-year sentence for other drug matters heard at Bradford Crown Court.

Dalby, of HMP Humber, was sentenced to five years in prison.

Fogarty of Leicester Square, Manston, Leeds, was sentenced to four years and six months and McCorrie, of Colton Road, Armley, Leeds, was given a three-year jail term.
