Man charged over serious assault

A man has been charged following a serious assault in Camborne.
Devon and Cornwall Police said a 56-year-old man had been charged with causing grievous bodily harm without intent.
Officers were called to an assault which happened in Pengegon Way at about 23:55 GMT on Thursday.
The man appeared at Bodmin Magistrates' Court on Monday afternoon.
He will next appear at Truro Crown Court on 24 December.
