More than 150 trees have been planted across Guernsey following the aftermath of Storm Ciarán.
On Saturday and Sunday, Guernsey Trees For Life (GTFL) planted 165 trees and more than 60 hedges at two sites.
Hundreds of trees were damaged in the storm and the charity aims to replace them.
It plans to plant trees at 12 more sites.
'Benefits are numerous'
Andy McCutcheon, technical officer at Guernsey Trees For Life, said: "Storm Ciarán reminded us all about the importance of trees and the many benefits they provide.
"Trees are an essential part of our ecosystem, and their benefits are numerous."
Mr McCutcheon said the aim of GTFL was the "planting of trees and the education of all about their benefits and how we can best care for them for the future".
