BMW worker dies at engine plant
A worker has died at a BMW engine factory in Warwickshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said it sent a number of crews to Canton Lane, Coleshill, on Sunday evening, where a man was found in a critical condition, but despite everyone's best efforts, he could not be saved.
Warwickshire Police said it received a report of a man in his fifties in cardiac arrest, adding that his death was not being treated as suspicious.
BMW Group said one of its associates at the Hams Hall plant very sadly passed away, having been taken ill soon after arriving at work.
The company said it had been in touch with his family to offer support.
BMW Group added that its thoughts were with them, and also his friends and colleagues.
