Man jailed over train sex act

A "sexual predator" who was caught on a train performing a sex act while he stared at a female passenger has been jailed.
Amanj Mustafa, 30, was sentenced to six and a half months in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of exposure.
British Transport Police said Mustafa targeted the victim on a train from Leeds to Huddersfield on 7 November, following her from one carriage to another and leaving the train at the same station.
Det Con James Beasley said Mustafa, of Crossland Road in Huddersfield, was a "sexual predator who saw an opportunity to scare and intimidate a young woman".
He said: "The woman was understandably left scared and disturbed by Mustafa’s disgusting actions and I would like to thank her for reporting the incident to us."
Mustafa was also issued with a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, which prohibits him from communicating with any lone female while travelling on public transport or at a railway station.
Mustafa's sentence also saw him placed on the sex offenders register for seven years and ordered to pay a £154 surcharge.
