An animal charity is appealing for information after a dog was "roughly handled" and "appeared to be hit" in a pub in Shropshire.
The RSPCA said the incident took place at The Albion Vaults in Castle Foregate, Shrewsbury, on 9 June at about 20:00 BST.
鈥淲e really do hope this dog, which looks like a Malinois-type, is OK," a spokesperson added.
The charity released an image of a man who they said might be able to help provide information about what happened.
鈥淲e鈥檇 like to chat to the man or anyone else sitting by the bar or who was in the pub at the time about this as they may be able to help with our inquiries,鈥 a spokesperson said.
