Man held after cocaine and knife found in car
A man has been arrested after large amounts of cocaine and a knife were found when police searched a car.
Nottinghamshire officers pulled over the car in Jericho Road, Balderton, near Newark, at about 17:00 BST on Wednesday following police intelligence.
They saw a small bag of white powder, which led to a search, and "larger quantities of cocaine in deal bags" were found in the car, while a knife was seized from the driver.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs and possession of a knife in a public place.
Police said the investigation remained ongoing and they have appealed for information.
