Battery sparks bin lorry fire in Plymouth

Firefighters have put out a lorry fire in Plymouth believed to have been started by a lithium-ion battery.
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said crews were called to Bath Street at 09:25 BST to reports of a blaze in the rubbish compartment of a recycling lorry near Plymouth Pavilions.
The fire was extinguished a short time later, the service said.
Hose reel jets, a safety jet and thermal imaging cameras used to cool the source of the fire and prevent reignition, the service said.
