Police are investigating a spate of BB or pellet gun attacks on homes in Gainsborough.

Officers are appealing for help to find those responsible after eight separate reports of windows being shot at.

The incidents happened in the Park Springs Road and Riseholme Road areas between 17 and 28 October.

Insp Mike Head warned: "There is a significant risk that someone could end up very badly injured."

He added: "We have made it a priority for the local teams to investigate and find those responsible.

"There is lots of work going on in the background, including following up on police intelligence and viewing CCTV and other footage, and we are also carrying out patrols in the area."

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police.
