Woman dies after two cars crash on A30

A woman in her 80s has died following a crash on the A30 in Cornwall, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said it was called to the two-car crash on the westbound carriageway at Plusha junction near Launceston at about 08:25 GMT on Thursday.
The force said: "A woman sustained life-threatening injuries and despite medical treatment, was confirmed deceased at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed."
Officers confirmed the woman had been a driver of one of the cars.
They said a road closure had been put in place while emergency services had dealt with the scene.
The force has urged anybody with information to get in touch.
