Man, 45, dies after being hit by car in Glasgow
A 45-year-old man has died after being struck by a car in Glasgow on Thursday.
Emergency services were called to Bowfield Drive in the Penilee area of the city at about 03:35.
The man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he later died. The driver of the vehicle, a red Nissan Qashqai, was not injured.
Officers closed the road for nine hours as investigations were carried out.
Sgt Ally Wright said: 鈥淥ur thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this very difficult time."
