Flood warnings have been issued for parts of South Yorkshire as river levels rise following heavy rain.
The Environment Agency said the River Rother could become overwhelmed at both Woodhouse Mill and Beighton.
The river level in both areas was expected to peak in the early hours of Tuesday.
Rotherham Council said its teams would be out overnight dealing with surface water flooding and deploying pumps where necessary. A spokesperson said river levels were being monitored, with residents "advised to be prepared".
In an update published at 17:00 BST, the Environment Agency said properties on Furnace Lane and Retford Road in Woodhouse Mill were among those most at risk from flooding.
