A-road closed after 'serious' two-vehicle crash
Essex Police says the "serious collision" occurred in the early hours of the morning

An A-road has been closed due to a "serious" two-vehicle crash.
Essex Police said it was called to the A414 at Writtle, near Chelmsford, at 04:30 BST.
Officers closed the road at the roundabout with Highwood Road and Bulimers Way.
A force spokesperson said: "We expect the closure to be in place in the coming hours as our investigation progresses."
