A man has been jailed for seven years after pleading guilty to two rapes.
Scott Morgan, 25, of Recorder Road, Norwich, has also been placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
Morgan appeared on Monday at Norwich Crown Court, where he was sentenced to seven years in prison with an extended licence of three years.
He was arrested on suspicion of rape following an incident in March 2023 which happened after a night out.
When Morgan and the victim returned to his home with a group of friends to continue socialising, Morgan asked to be alone with the victim.
The woman was then raped by Morgan twice, and she sought help from the police after fleeing his home.
He was arrested on suspicion of rape and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning before being released on bail and later charged.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of raping a woman of 16 years or over.
'Dangerous individual'
Det Sgt Lawrence Oakes said police were committed to supporting victims of sexual offences and bringing offenders to justice.
"Morgan is a dangerous individual who, thanks to the bravery and courage of the victim, no longer poses a threat to the community in Norwich," he said.
"No sentence will ever heal the trauma Morgan has inflicted on his victim. However, I do sincerely hope that the closure of this case will be another stage in their healing process."
