A woman who killed an eight-month-old after crashing her car into the baby's pram has had her sentencing delayed after suffering a suspected heart attack.

Mabli Cariad Hall, from Neath, died four days after Bridget Curtis's car hit her pram outside Withybush Hospital in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, in June 2023.

Curtis, 70, from Begelly, previously admitted causing death by dangerous driving.

She was due to be sentenced on Friday, but was taken ill on the morning of her hearing and is now being treated at the same hospital where the fatal crash happened.

Mabli's father, Rob, was also injured in the incident and their family previously described the past year as the most horrendous time of their lives.

They said: "Every day is a day of pain for us, even now, but as parents we still have to give the love and support our other children need as they are still trying to come to terms with losing their baby sister."

Another hearing will be held on 5 December.
