Six charged with attempted murder in car theft incident
Six men have been charged with attempted murder after an incident involving the theft of a car in Edinburgh.
Two men were hurt in a disturbance on Southhouse Square on 26 January.
A black BMW car was stolen and a 25-year-old man was found seriously injured and a 24-year-old man was also hurt.
Police Scotland said they had arrested the six men, aged between 20 and 58, in connection with the incident.
A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Det Sgt Steven Dick said: "I would like to thank the members of the public who responded to our appeal for information and came forward with information."
