Former police officer accused of child sex offences

A former Metropolitan police constable has been charged with a string of offences including sexual activity with a child and voyeurism.
Lee Hargrave, 48, from Egham, Surrey, has been charged with six offences relating to the same person between 2020 and 2023, Surrey Police said.
They include two counts of voyeurism, two counts of making indecent images of children, one count of sexual assault of a child aged under 13, and one count of sexual activity with a child.
Police said Mr Hargrave, who is due to appear before Staines Magistrates’ Court on Friday, is also charged with one count of possession of an extreme image.
A spokesman for the Surrey force confirmed Mr Hargrave is a former police constable with the Metropolitan Police.
