Teenage boy seriously injured in motorbike crash

A teenager who was riding a motorbike has been taken to hospital with a serious injury after a crash in Torquay.
The crash involving a Lexmoto motorcycle and a Peugeot 108 happened on the Newton Road junction with Woodland Road at about 15:00 BST on Wednesday, Devon and Cornwall Police said.
Police said a 17-year-old boy was taken to hospital and the road was closed for an investigation.
Anyone who saw the crash or has dashcam footage of it was asked to contact police.
