Christmas tree decorated with supportive messages

A Christmas tree has been decorated with handwritten messages about mental health.
The Guernsey Youth Commission (GYC) asked students to confidentially write messages of support to people who might be struggling with their mental health.
It said the display aimed to reassure islanders they were "not alone" and things would be okay.
The tree is on display at Beau Sejour Leisure Centre during the Christmas period.
John Marsh, from the GYC, said he hoped the display would bring the community together and allow people to be "a lot more open about the way they are feeling".
He added that it was good for people to know there were "other people in the same position" with the same issues.
