Three teenagers arrested following the death of a man in his 70s at allotments in Kent have been bailed pending further inquiries.

Kent Police said officers were called to a report of intruders at an allotment area off Southwood Road, in Tunbridge Wells, shortly after 22:00 BST on Wednesday.

The force said a man in his 70s required treatment for a suspected medical episode following an alleged altercation with one of the suspects.

Paramedics also attended and the man was later confirmed dead at the scene.

The man's next of kin have been informed, the force said.

Tunbridge Wells MP Mike Martin previously said he was "deeply saddened" by the incident and was being "kept informed" by Kent Police.

"I am grateful to everyone for refraining from speculation and allowing the police to conduct their investigation," he said on .
