Three arrested over 400-plant cannabis farm
Three men have been arrested by police who discovered a cannabis farm.
More than 400 plants were found on Station Road in Beamish Village, County Durham, at about 16:00 BST on Monday.
Durham Police said the farm was being dismantled and the plants would be destroyed, with a 48-hour closure notice issued for the premises.
Two of the men, aged 30 and 44, remain in custody after being arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis.
A third man, 23, who was also held on suspicion of the same offence, has been bailed while investigations continue.
