A man has been charged after a stolen car crashed into a police motorbike, injuring an officer.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said a stolen grey Honda Civic, with false number plates, was spotted by officers on Wimpson Lane in Southampton at 21:20 BST on 2 July.
The driver failed to stop and collided with both a white Peugeot and a marked police motorbike, officers said.
Marvin Geddes, 33, of Epping Close in Southampton, Hampshire, has been charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and dangerous driving.
The officer on the police motorbike and the driver of the Peugeot sustained minor injuries.
Mr Geddes has also been accused of failing to stop, the use of a motor vehicle without third party insurance and driving without a licence.
He appeared at Southampton Magistrates earlier and was remanded into custody. He is due to appear at Southampton Crown Court on 9 August.
