Trio arrested after series of sports shop break-ins

Police have made three arrests as part of an investigation into a series of break-ins at a Telford sports shop.

Items including electric bikes, a kayak, camping equipment, clothing and tools costing between £15,000 and £30,000 were taken from Decathlon, West Mercia Police said.

The store, at Forge Retail Park, was targeted on 2 May, 2 June, 7 June and again on Tuesday.

Det Sgt Andrew Pond said officers arrested three men on Friday after working with the store and gathering intelligence.
