Quadbikes, mountain bikes and tools have been stolen from farm properties in Cornwall, police have said.

Devon & Cornwall Police said it had received reports of thefts from outbuildings in Pensilva and Quethiock, near Liskeard, between 02:00 and 06:30 GMT on Monday after entry was forced.

Officers have appealed for people to check their CCTV, doorbell and dash-cam footage and to report any suspicious behaviour.

The police advised any similar properties to check their outbuildings and consider reviewing the use of locks, security and CCTV.

It added people should also consider the use of clamps and tracking systems on quad bikes, to immobilise vehicles and machinery in a lockable building, to keep the keys away from the vehicles and to keep a record of information on their vehicles and equipment.
