Former snooker hall could become residential flats
The Clifton Mills site could be converted into 10 one-bed apartments

A former mill building that housed a snooker hall could be converted into 10 residential apartments, under proposals.
Clifton Mills, on Clifton Street in Bradford, is currently vacant, according to a planning application submitted to Bradford Council.
The snooker hall which operated out of the premises by way of a lease shut last year, according to the application, put forward by Jade3 Architecture.
The developer withdrew a previous application for flats on the site last year, before submitting revised plans earlier this month.
The snooker hall closed due to "unprecedented economic circumstances", the application said.
It added that the building's owner therefore had to "consider an alternative route forward", rather than "do nothing and let the property to fall into disrepair".
The proposed apartments would all be small one-bed properties, the developer added.
A decision on the plans is likely to be made by the council in the coming months.
