A 20-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Edinburgh.
The pedestrian was struck by a grey Volvo XC60 on Dundee Street, Fountainbridge, at about 17:30 on Sunday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the car, a 51-year-old man, was arrested and later released.
Police have launched an investigation to establish the full circumstances of the crash and anyone with information is urged to .
