Woman held after street buskers verbally abused

A woman has been arrested after two buskers were verbally abused in a North Yorkshire market town.
The buskers were performing on the corner of Zetland Street and High Street in Northallerton on 27 October when a member of the public shouted abuse at the pair at about 13:00 BST.
The performers were not injured, North Yorkshire Police said, but the force said it was concerned the behaviour "may be part of a wider pattern".
Officers said the 31-year-old arrested woman had since been released on bail, with anyone with information about the incident asked to contact police.
