Moray hospital to miss nursing staff training target
Dr Gray's Hospital in Elgin was criticised by inspectors

NHS Grampian has admitted a target to have all nursing staff at Dr Gray's emergency department trained in child resuscitation will not be met this month.
Healthcare Improvement Scotland raised concerns about a lack of training at the Elgin hospital following an unannounced inspection in October last year.
It found only 44% of the registered nursing staff in A&E, and 64% on the paediatric ward, had completed a paediatric immediate life support course.
NHS Grampian told inspectors it would ensure all staff were trained by the end of this month. It has now told ³ÉÈË¿ìÊÖ Scotland News that would not happen until the end of June, due to the availability of external trainers.
