Two charged after cannabis farm found

A suspected cannabis farm with nearly 1,000 plants has been uncovered at an industrial estate.

West Mercia Police said officers uncovered 985 plants, with an estimated street value of £827,400, at an address on the Mill Lane Industry Estate in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire on Tuesday.

Two men who were arrested were later charged with production or being concerned in production of class B drugs.

The plants which were found in the building were seized and will be destroyed, the force added.

The operation was led by the force's Neighbourhood Crime Fighting Team.
