A lorry driver has admitted causing the death of a 61-year-old motorcyclist after a crash in Nottinghamshire.
Nigel Osler died in hospital after the crash on the A617/A60 crossroads junction in Mansfield in the early hours of 12 July 2023.
On Thursday, Matthew Wright, 45, of Leeson Avenue, Charnock Richard, Chorley, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.
He was also disqualified from driving on an interim basis.
Wright was granted unconditional bail and is due to be sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on 3 October.
Mr Osler's family previously said it was "sadly ironic" that he had been riding to work to start his shift as a HGV driver at the time of the incident.
In a joint statement, they described him as "a friend to many".
