Police have issued an appeal for witnesses after a motorcyclist died in a collision with a road sign.

Thames Valley Police said the 32-year-old man died at the scene on Grays Park Road, Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire, at about 23:30 BST on Sunday.

He was from Slough, Berkshire, it added.

PC Talan O’Neill said: "Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time."

He appealed for anyone who saw anything to come forward, especially any motorists by the crossroads of Church Lane, Farthing Green Lane and Grays Park Road.

"We are particularly interested to speak to the occupants of a vehicle that parked on the junction of Farthing Green Lane after coming from Church Lane," he added.

"This vehicle was present at the time of the collision."
