Traffic direction to be reversed on Jersey street
The traffic flow on part of a St Helier street is being reversed as part of plans to improve accessibility.
Jersey's government said Dumaresq Street between Hue Street south and Charing Cross would become one-way in the direction of the latter, reversing its current flow, on Monday.
It said the move was designed to enhance access to the Premier Inn at Charing Cross and would be part of a "broader initiative by infrastructure and environment to improve accessibility for residents and visitors alike".
Constable Andy Jehan, infrastructure minister, said: "We are committed to implementing measures that enhance accessibility across the island in response to feedback from visitors."
