Police seize suspected cannabis plants worth 拢1m

More than 2,000 suspected cannabis plants, estimated to be worth about 拢1m, have been seized during a police raid.
West Midlands Police officers carried out a drugs warrant in Ladywood, Birmingham, at about 07:45 BST on Wednesday.
Plants and growing equipment were discovered inside the industrial building.
The equipment was dismantled, and the plants will be forensically checked before being destroyed.
鈥淭he message is clear, if you come to this area with intentions of carrying out criminal activity, we will stop you," said Sgt Richard Bastable from the Jewellery Quarter neighbourhood team.
