A motorcyclist has died after his bike collided with a car.

The accident happened on Midland Road in Wellingborough at about 22:20 BST on Thursday.

Northamptonshire Police said the man, in his 30s, was riding a black Lexmoto that was involved in a crash with a purple Ford Fusion near the junction of Victoria Road.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam footage to get in touch.
