Plans to build 193 homes in an East Yorkshire town have been approved by the council.
The proposal for Bradley Park in Market Weighton also includes 2.2 acres (9,000 sq m) of public open space and a play area, with all homes having electric charging points for vehicles.
According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, developer Persimmon 成人快手s Yorkshire expects construction of the scheme, on land off Holme Road, to start in the next few months.聽
East Riding of Yorkshire Council approved the development despite a number of objections including concerns the estate was being built next to a HGV company, as well as a lack of community and infrastructure facilities.
An existing pig farm at the site will be removed.
Joe Frank, Persimmon 成人快手s Yorkshire鈥檚 land director, said: 鈥淭his project not only delivers high-quality new homes but also contributes significant investment into the local community.
"We are excited to work with local stakeholders and East Riding of Yorkshire Council to bring this vision to life for local homebuyers."
Nineteen of the homes will be affordable housing - 10% of the stock - which is lower than the normal allocation for large housing developments in the area.
As part of the agreement, the developer is to contribute 拢750,000 to support local infrastructure, which聽includes 拢366,921 towards outdoor sports, 拢320,000 towards primary education to create 31 new school places, as well as two new bus stops.
