Sheep lorry crash leaves man in hospital
A man is in hospital after a sheep lorry crash which has shut the A75 for more than 16 hours.
The accident happened at about 17:30 on Wednesday near the junction with the B721 at Gretna.
The lorry left the road and a 54-year-old man was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary by ambulance.
The road was reopened on Thursday afternoon after recovery operations were completed and checks were carried out on the animals involved.
Diversions were put in place.
