Man suffers serious head injuries after assault

A man has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries after an assault outside a pub.
Wiltshire Police said two suspects assaulted the victim, who is in his 20s, outside the Black Horse pub in New Road, Chippenham, at about 02:40 BST on Sunday.
A man, in his 30s, has since been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or may have information on the lead up to it, is encouraged to contact police.
