Ride-on mower taken in cricket club burglary

A ride-on lawn-mower has been stolen from a cricket club in Nottinghamshire during a burglary.
Police were called to the cricket club in Forest Corner, Edwinstowe, after reports a garage next to their pavilion had been broken into.
Offenders moved a CCTV camera and cut a padlock to gain access to the garage at about 23:30 GMT on Thursday.
A John Deere model 310 rotary mower was taken during the break-in.
It is believed the machine must have been pulled along the road or taken away in a vehicle as it was under repair at the time, police said.
PC Eden Sisson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: "It is hugely disappointing to see a popular local sports club targeted by thieves in this way.
"Although the burglary took place late at night, we believe motorists could have seen suspicious activity around the area of the club or the mower being transported away from the scene."
