Two men from Merseyside who fired a gun at a home in Hull have been convicted of firearms offences.
Liam Roscoe, 24, of Birkrig, Skelmersdale and 26-year-old James Connor of Statton Road, Liverpool will be sentenced later this month.
Two bullets were fired at a property on River Grove in Hull in July last year.
Det Ch Insp Jayne Goodens said it was "sheer luck" nobody had been injured or killed.
The incident last summer left a bullet hole in the front window of the property.
'Deliberately targeted'
A second shot had also been fired through the front door smashing a mirror.
Roscoe and Connor were both charged with possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Roscoe was found guilty by a jury after a trial at Grimsby Crown Court while Connor admitted to the offences at a court hearing in January.
DCI Goodens said: 鈥淩oscoe and Connor deliberately targeted a residential property, having no regard for the occupants or their safety.
鈥淚ncidents of this nature are thankfully rare in our area, and I hope the conviction of both men sends a clear message that it will not be tolerated," she added.
