Driver charged after pedestrian's death

A driver has been charged following the death of a pedestrian after his car left the road and hit her.
The 40-year-old woman died and two other pedestrians were injured in the incident on Barrowby Road, Grantham, at about 18:40 BST on Thursday.
Officers said the two other people's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver, a man, 30, is due to appear before Lincoln Magistrates' Court later charged with causing death by dangerous driving, failure to stop and drink-driving.
Lincolnshire Police said specialist officers were supporting the family of the deceased woman.
