Dispersal orders in place in Carlisle and Barrow
Police in Cumbria have imposed dispersal orders in Carlisle and Barrow following recent unrest across England.
The orders give police officers the power to tell groups of two or more people to leave the area if there are concerns over their behaviour.
They cover the city and town centres and come into effect from 10:00 BST until midnight.
Hundreds of people have been arrested in connection with riots and protests following the deaths of three girls in an attack in Southport last month.
Anyone refusing to comply with the dispersal order can be arrested and fined up to 拢2,500 or receive a three-month prison sentence.
