Lincolnshire's autumn Covid-19 vaccination campaign has got off to a "record start", according to health bosses.
Since it began more than 15,000 people have had a Covid booster jab, and over 25,000 have received flu vaccinations.
GP practices and community pharmacies had 鈥減ulled out all the stops鈥 to get people vaccinated, the NHS said.
The release of the autumn Covid booster vaccinations began on 3 October.
Steve Clapton from the NHS Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board, said: 鈥淚 was confident the numbers of people coming forwards to have their vaccinations would be good, but I did not expect such astonishing numbers to be vaccinated so early into the new vaccination campaign, making for a record start for us."
Anyone aged 65 and over is eligible for the current round of Covid booster and flu vaccinations, as are pregnant women, residents in care homes for older adults, and anyone aged from six months to 64 years old in a clinical risk group.
Mr Clapton said: 鈥淣early all GP practices across the county are supporting the autumn Covid-19 vaccination campaigns, alongside the flu vaccinations they are also giving, and we also have more community pharmacies involved this time around鈥.
鈥淚 am hugely grateful for their magnificent efforts in providing Lincolnshire patients with the maximum level of protection this autumn,鈥 he added.
