Two men injured in riverside attack

Two men have been injured in an attack on a riverside path in York.
The assault took place on Dame Judi Dench Walk, near Marygate, at about 12:45 BST on Friday, North Yorkshire Police said. One of the victims needed hospital treatment.
Officers said a male suspect fled the scene, which has been cordoned off.
They have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact police.
