Nesting goose 'kicked in head' near pub
Reports that a nesting goose was kicked in the head in Stoke-on-Trent have been investigated by the RSPCA.
The Canada goose was said to have been attacked near to a Toby Carvery on Marina Way, Festival Park, at about 15:15 BST on 14 April.
鈥淭he goose is fortunately okay and is still nesting on her eggs,鈥 said Sophie Taylor from the RSPCA.
Anybody who saw what happened was urged to contact the animal charity which said it had also informed police.
